The Backyard Pack has started their Train a Dog to Save a Dog program to rehabilitate dogs that are in local rescues and/or shelters, who are unsuitable for adoption due to behavioral problems.
Under normal circumstances, these dogs would face a life of foster homes or boarding facilities because local rescue groups or shelters are not able to financially support the costs of rehabilitation.
TBYP enrolls these dogs into their Train a Dog Save a Dog program where they undergo weeks of intensive training to eliminate inappropriate behaviors and to learn proper obedience and confidence necessary to have a happy and well-balanced dog. If you're interested in adopting a TBYP sponsored dog, please review our profiles of available dogs and contact us regarding your interest. TBYP will work closely with each family to ensure that the adoption process is a positive experience. An adoption fee is applied for each sponsored dog.
